CuNi44, also known as Constantan, is a classic copper-nickel resistance alloy. It boasts stable electrical resistance, an extremely low temperature coefficient of resistance, as well as excellent corrosion resistance, ductility and solderability. Being non-magnetic, it suits various working conditions. It is widely used for precision resistors, potentiometers, thermocouple compensation wires, strain gauges and heating elements in electronic instruments and industrial equipment. It can be fabricated into wires, strips and other forms.
